Pictures

Almost done with all my PC pics! You probably don't think often of how many photos we download. I had over 1,000 in my PC, i love to take pics and save pics and clip art that i didn't realize how many i had overloaded.

Been busy burning my pics and memories to Cd's. Also been busy printing them and sending them to Walgreen's whom have great specials thanks to info i received from Barb! Wow i cant believe how much i have saved printing them out and picking them up.

So now my PC rarely has pics on too long, but be sure to use a sharpie pen so you know when you have downloaded on Cd's you can find what you are looking for! lol! hm mm

Well i got that caught up too and realized what a pain that was when i went to search for a piece of clip art for a project i was working on. Happy printing! and cleaning out the PC of yours.

Save those pics somewhere and print them too, but remember if that PC goes down you still have those pics.

A piece of my heart!

In between all these appointments this past two weeks, i have been running in and out and also been dumping things. You know cleaning out the house or an area? In the process a garage sale, and clearing of a patio that collected items in a quick move. As i was coming home today somewhat exhausted mental and physically i found when i went to change into my work clothes that i lost something precious, (not my kid) but my one and only piece of jewelry that means so much to me.

Most of you know in 03 - July 4th to be exact i lost our mom. In 94' she gave each of us kids a piece of jewelry that she picked out for each of us. This was quite a task for a family whom rarely did gifts or jewelry. She chosen a gold piece from a special store in Mexico took her time to locate the one she wanted each to have. I cherish each day, and it gives me a piece of mind that i am not wandering lost with out her.

She had decide to give each of her adult children a religious icon piece, probably to give us some peace and love from loosing our dad in 92. (hoping we could find some direction in our loss)
We all, including her were still mourning and wandering each day wondering about what ifs and wishes.

Each piece was very unique and had each special meaning.

I couldn't locate it for the life of me! i looked everywhere i tore the trash apart, the car and wandered the yard. With tears almost streaming, my husband said take a break and you will probably find it, maybe it is somewhere you haven't double checked. I thought oh, i am so sad to know i have lost this. I will live i know but is something i always want with me or on me. Just a special piece.

As i walked back from my extra steps everywhere, i went to lock the car and found it next to the porch. Oh my, i was so relieved.

One friend had told me once that after loosing her mom to cancer she had a special hat and she misplaced it and searched everywhere and was so sad to know she lost it. It is funny how we feel a little piece we loose when we know their soul is always with us.

I hope no one has to endure this, it seems inevitable but if you find it great if not, hopefully the memories will serve you always. As they do me daily.

Now to business

I have some great products and one is these cool frames to work with.

It was much a test as a process to find what i wanted or liked but one completed my brain is working on some ideas now.

Not sure if you make heads or tales out of these but the outcome was more than awesome and i was pleased! I will have at market May 30, Sat for you to view!

Great weather, overcast

Overcast today helped with keeping me upright to get things done in that yard. I have some nervous energy to work out of my system.

but the best thing bout warmer weather is grilling, I love to cook and grilling is the best. I even have a huge smoker! We grilled the chicken and a very rare for us some corn on the cob! and later yes more strawberries! I love homemade marinades with just what ever i cand find. little of this and little of that are the best. I can duplicate most. I love Grandmas idea no measuring thats how i cook!

Plants of many kind

Of course the planting was compliments of me, He started them as seeds and now they were over due to get into the dirt! I spent the whole day out again, getting it all done. It was nice overcast and thank goodness cool. Which i much appreciated. The asapargus garden got all cleaned out in hopes to have some this summer as always.

I use to have 44 rose bushes in my yard yep 44 and now maybe 4 tops lol 9 years of running business has had some neglect on the homefront. One day maybe i will have it up to 10 bushes lol

He has fruit trees of many kind, now tomatoes, cucumbers

squash and much more. and of course the strawberrys as you can see!

Working hard these days.

As our folks get older we gain more work. We live next door so guess what! i inherited yep the yard. lol, i haven't caught up on my own planting and grooming but theirs is looking better and hopefully as we normally have every year a great garden!

Ck Events

Several have asked questions about the Ck show, The main answer is be sure to bring a class kit of items you like to use putting together your pages and such, especially adhesive and a pencil to right down questions or answers you may have later. Bring more than one item so you won't run out.

Hope you will enjoy! It is a good event for beginners and advance to get inspired and create. Even if you go to class to learn and take home your projects to do at your own pace once you get the general idea!

The sun might shine?

Now that the rain is finally, maybe, possibly moving out! lol i can get some natural light in the work area and get things done. IT has been kinda gloomy and hard to get going on these rainy days that make us feeling tired. Hopefully some more creative thoughts will get down on paper! Get the stuff out and start piecing together a card!

Our son received an award / a really nice one for his 5k effort! We are so proud of him!

We completed the 5k Autism walk. We are so proud of our sons' excitement and determination to do the big walk. Definately would have been happy if he wanted to quit early, it showed my lack of excercise! But we did it and had a great time. It was good to see all our friends and people.

Sat, tmrw is the Walk for Autism, little confusion but i am signed up for 5 miles! I have been walking everyday but not sure about the 5 miles. so if you see anyone laying off the road drop some water, of course it may be raining anyway. lol! Seriously Thank you to all of you and family whom has donated to the cause. Like i said before not just for our son Johnathon but to all those families and children out there. xoxoxoxo

hmm, when you here a noise not normal from a microwave pay attention, i rarely walk out of the kitchen when i cook but a normal snack at night is for popcorn! Last night i was in the kitchen and kept hearing a wierd noise off and on, finaly though hmm it has to be the microwave. Yep, lo and behold the microwave was flaming in side yep flaming! i opened the door and grabbed a towel and beat the fire out. luckily it was small but scary! So next time you hear a noise pay attention especialy if the microwave is on, also - it is now off to try and find a new one, (
