ok so i saw these great little bird cages with cute little messages and now i have to have one. When you cant buy it you make it. I think?

Ha! can you tell which was my first one and which is the 2nd. Yep, definately not as easy as it looks but pratice makes perfect. (I hope!)

At Arlenes it was such a fun as always.

Still a work in progess, as everything else. I found to keep my little altered stuff in the altered box.

I have some ideas for the inside but havent gotten there, but i am thinking some crackle paint on top would be cool. Hmm, I may have to do that now.

Buttons Galore!

Ok, so i went to Hancocks to get a nice green button to put on a jacket i am trying to make open instead of slip over head, little did i know that there is button galore, As you know i lead a very shelterd life these days lol - but i went to find 3 buttons and found my self wanting to go in debt over buttons.

They have beautiful flavors, styles, and designs of buttons. I was in awe.

so i made a final decison but also thought i need to come back to get some for my scrapbooking and cards. Yep they will work, some real glitzy ones too!

Buttons are wonderful these days.

Posting?

It amazes me on how people spend or have so much time to spend at their pc, phones and iphones stuff. I call it stuff i guess cause it isnt that important to me other than to keep up quickly with everyone. Like facebook that is quick hi and hellos or ogosh!

I guess my point is with facebook, blog and website, i am still pondering creating a crafting site for swaps we really need something cool and for our Oklahoma gals especially.

It amazed me that while in Dallas there was very limited things to find in crafting, no stamp stores, no scrap stores no magazines! for goodness sake i went all the way to a mall to find a barnes and noble just to discover i was having withdrawls from my crafting friends and products.

This time i am taking some books!

New notes and Old info

First we are so thankful to all of you who have followed us on news - and the many notes and updates given to us. So glad to be home / Tulsa! but oh so thankful for a new kidney in our family. Thank you, you have no idea how much it meant to us for the calls, messages, notes, gifts and encouragement. Thank goodness for pcs!

Works of Art

It is interesting how you get so much done for others than you do your own. So much creativeness flows when working with others pictures. When you have your own stuff to work on you sit there and think about it and think about it. Singing one day my pages will be done.

I think albums are so much simpler and easier to just slide the pics in instead of scrapping. Until you can work on them. At least there in a book!

We were so creative, my only dissapointment is that i got so busy i didnt get close ups of their compeleted projects. Great, fun fabrics to choose from, and grudge board to embellish with.

And yes the  music is fun, i like more of the older stuff. and miss my cool Santana Tshirt from the early 70's ;(

Where we create

Am i the only one who moves my stuff around constantly trying to find that right space or quality area to work.

I find my stuff all over spread out. I finaly made a decision to move shelves and try to compress even more if possible. As i get rid of more stuff, i bring more boxes and find it to be Christmas all over again, and literally finding Christmas paper, Halloween and things i really dont want to deal with.

But, embellishments is a whole different feeling it is like bling!!!! You can always use.

So much stuff is coming out, and again more great paper, how much do we need?
Been working on some on some cards and photos and thats fun.,
Speaking of which i need to post some pics again!

Back to the shelf thing, i found a great dvd shelf that is so thin it will work perfect for stamps so i think i am going that direction and see if i can move my other shelf out and use if for a much other needed space.

So off to cleaning the desk and moving stuff again.

Snow Day

Other than cooking this is a good day for creating and of course cleaning out the work desk. I got some cool paper and need to sit and create it once i decide to actually take the paper and cut it yikes! Is it just me.? or do all of us just want to look at our paper and not cut it.

Finishing up on Enchiladas for tonight - belated birthday dinner for my other half and preparing a major cookie cake for sons birthday Monday! aye aye aye. Yep, i hope he eats all of the jumbo chocolate chip cookie so i wont eat on it! lol -too bad he doesn't like cake{
